Störerhaftung
Section titled “Störerhaftung”As a provider of communication and legal infrastructure, AgentBureau adheres to the German legal principle of Störerhaftung (Interferer’s Liability).
Liability Model
Section titled “Liability Model”AgentBureau operates as a “neutral intermediary” for digital communications. Under § 7-10 of the Telemediengesetz (TMG), we are generally not liable for the content transmitted by our users, provided that:
- We did not initiate the transmission (in the sense of choosing the content).
- We did not select the receiver of the transmission.
- We did not select or modify the information contained in the transmission.
Abuse Prevention
Section titled “Abuse Prevention”To maintain our status and protect the network, we implement:
- Automated Scanning: Keyword filtering for known spam or illegal patterns.
- Rate Limiting: Preventing the use of our API for bulk “fax-spamming” or harassment.
- KYC for High-Risk Actions: Ensuring accountability for significant legal actions like company formation.
